About Bodyworx Automotive Services
Here is what to know about Bodyworx Automotive Services. We have been repairing, restoring, and maintaining vehicles for drivers in Eugene, Springfield, and Lane County since 2010. Owner Brent Wright opened the shop to solve a problem he had watched customers live with for years — having to drive from one shop to the next just to get a single vehicle sorted out. Collision work in one place, mechanical in another, paint somewhere else. At Bodyworx, it all happens under one roof, from a fender bender to a full frame-off restoration.

About the People Behind the Work
Bodyworx is owned by Brent Wright, who has spent 40 years in the automotive trade and 26 years as part of the Eugene and Springfield community. Day-to-day shop operations are run by manager Jeff Tufts. Together with a seven-person crew, the team brings more than 200 years of combined experience into the building every morning.
That depth shows up most on the jobs that do not go by the book — a rusted-out quarter panel, a color that has to match thirty-year-old paint, an intermittent fault another shop could not trace. Our technicians have seen it before, which is why the repair gets done right the first time and you are not back in our bay next week for the same problem.
Ask Brent what he enjoys most about this work and the answer is simple: bringing a customer’s vision for a vehicle to life, and knowing that families leave here safe on the road.

We Work for You, Not the Insurance Company
This is the part customers ask about most often. We do not work for insurance companies — we work for you. Our job is to document the damage properly, repair the vehicle correctly, and return it to factory specifications. Once the work is documented, we can courtesy bill your insurer on your behalf so you are not chasing paperwork.
You are never required to use a shop an adjuster steers you toward. The choice of repair shop is always yours — you can read more about your right to choose in Oregon — and we are glad to walk through your options before you commit to anything.
Our Warranty
Every repair we perform carries a lifetime warranty on labor for as long as you own the vehicle. We also choose our vendors deliberately, so the parts we install come backed by the longest and most comprehensive warranties available to us.
We do not measure ourselves by how many vehicles we repair in a month. We measure ourselves by how many we repair correctly — vehicles that go back out safely and stay out, with little to no return for rework.
Part of the Eugene Community
Brent has been part of the Eugene and Springfield community for 26 years, including a longstanding membership in BNI. Bodyworx supports local nonprofits including Food For Lane County, NW Christian Academy, and The Mission, and sponsors multiple local car shows, the swap meet, and Function at the Junction.
When you bring a vehicle here, you are dealing with people who live in this community and expect to see you at the grocery store. That tends to keep everyone honest.
Three Shops, One Property
Bodyworx shares its Airport Road property with two sister businesses, both also owned by Brent Wright: Executive Auto Detail for professional detailing and paint correction, and Vintage Motorworx for classic and collector vehicle work.
If a project spans more than one of those shops — say a restoration that needs bodywork, mechanical sorting, and a show-quality finish — we coordinate it in house. You drop the vehicle off once.
What You Can Expect
There is nothing complicated about our standard. Every vehicle that leaves this shop should meet it: repaired with care, using quality parts, by competent technicians, so the family driving it is safe on the road.
Whether you need auto body and collision repair, dent and paint work, mechanical repair, or specialty and restoration services, you can reach us at (541) 844-1223 or through our contact page. Stop by the shop at 29365 Airport Rd, Ste B in Eugene, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Common Questions About Bodyworx
How long have you been in business?
Bodyworx opened in 2010 and has served Eugene, Springfield, and Lane County for 16 years. Brent Wright has worked in the automotive trade for 40 years.
Do you handle both body work and mechanical repair?
Yes, and that is the whole reason the shop exists. Collision, paint, mechanical, fabrication, and restoration all happen in one building, so you are not shuttling a vehicle between shops.
What should I know about your warranty?
Every repair carries a lifetime warranty on labor for as long as you own the vehicle, plus the strongest parts warranties our vendors offer.
Do I have to use the shop my insurance recommends?
No. The choice of repair shop is always yours. Ask us about courtesy billing and we will handle the paperwork with your insurer.
